Step 4: Identify your site’s canonical pages

Post by Rina7RS »

Now that we have established a process for topic clustering, it’s time to discuss how to leverage any existing authority within the site.

Some pages end up having more authority than others, and you can use that to your advantage.

Your most authoritative pages will have links pointing to them from external sources (of course, remember that it’s not about the quantity of links, but the quality).

This link equity can be strategically passed on to other pages through internal linking.

Step 5: Use internal links to improve your target page's brazil mobile database ranking
Once you’ve identified these, you can use your site’s authoritative pages to boost the rankings of others.

This part of the strategy can be as simple as reviewing the most authoritative pages and identifying opportunities to pass link authority to others where appropriate.

If you’re working with a site that’s getting a lot of quality links, this can be pretty simple.

All you need to do is go through the pages with the most valuable links and identify relevant opportunities to link to your most important pages or the pages that need a ranking boost.

Pro tip : If any of the authoritative pages you identify don’t have relevant content, don’t link to them. Create that content from scratch if it makes sense to do so as part of a broader content strategy.
