Technology of laying corrugated sheets

Post by zihadhosenjm40 »

In any case, installing roofing on a flat roof is more difficult than on a roof with steep slopes, since in addition to installation work, you will have to use sealants and gaskets.

After a decision has been made on what the slope of the corrugated roof should be, a project has been drawn up and the necessary building materials have been purchased, they begin installing the roof covering, starting from the lower edge of the slope:

Before laying the sheets, the eaves strip and drainage system are installed, and the chimney is waterproofed.
The fastening of the corrugated sheets is carried out in blocks on self-tapping screws, to which special seals are attached. The fasteners are placed in the bends of the waves. To do this, first the first sheet is attached to the battens at the ridge, and then the second, which is fixed to the first. The same is done with the bangladesh mobile database sheet. Then the entire block is completely aligned relative to the eaves and finally secured.
At the end of the work, the ridge, end strips, valleys and apron of the chimney pipe are installed, and, if necessary, snow retention elements.
Recommendations from installation specialists
When working with corrugated sheets, you should follow several rules:

The sheets must be lifted up to the laying location one by one.
Metal shavings that appear during the process of screwing in screws must be removed immediately with a brush, otherwise you can damage the polymer layer that protects against corrosion, which significantly reduces the service life of the roofing material.
You should walk on the roof surface wearing shoes with soft soles.
If the polymer layer is damaged during installation, these areas must be immediately covered with a special compound.
The minimum slope of a roof made of self-supporting corrugated sheets is 8 degrees.
The sheets are fastened to the lathing with special self-tapping screws with a gasket. Rivets or nails cannot be used. The fasteners are not screwed in too tightly.
