Considering that such houses are usually intended for summer living, simple and inexpensive materials can be used in their construction (but they must be of high quality). For example, the most popular materials for such work are timber or board, which can be handled even by those people who have never previously built teacher data buildings on their own.
In addition, to build an economy-class house, you can use plywood with a thickness of at least 10 mm, a beam with a cross-section of 50 x 50 mm and mineral wool as insulation.

Concrete and brick are quite suitable for making the foundation for the house structure. If you decide to use brick, you should buy solid, red brick, from which the pillars will be laid out. Joists and rafters are made from boards (edged or unedged) with a cross-section of 100x50 mm, which are fastened with plates and corners. When using unedged boards, remember that they will have to be additionally covered with a layer of plywood on top.

When constructing a foundation, you can also use chipboard sheets, but they will need to be carefully treated with drying oil, otherwise they will rot and become unusable in the very near future.


Very often, the construction of summer houses involves the construction of a concrete foundation, which will require preliminary construction of the frame. To do this, you will need to dig a hole about 70 cm deep and make a sand and gravel cushion about 20 cm high in it. The cement, during the hardening process, should be periodically watered with water, due to which it will acquire the necessary strength and will not crack.

In addition, a mandatory element of a reliable foundation is a timber frame (150x150 mm), on which a board frame is subsequently laid. A 10-centimeter layer of mineral wool is placed inside the frame, after which the resulting structure is sewn up with two layers of plywood (to fasten the plywood sheets together, you can use PVA glue).
