Putting digital technology at the service of the ecological transition: this is the key issue that public stakeholders, investors, start-ups and researchers should focus on. This white paper contains 26 proposals for actions to 1) reduce the ecological footprint of digital technology, 2) use digital technology to better design ecological policies, 3) support digital innovation in favor of ecology and 4) mobilize the potential of data to serve the ecological transition. Its goal: to launch and feed the reflection of public authorities on the most relevant measures to implement. A new political agenda is emerging: to create a positive feedback loop between digital innovation and ecological solutions.

In his first book, Luc Julia, co-creator of Apple's voice assistant, demystifies the cloud of fantasies and preconceived ideas surrounding our vision of AI. We have wrongly adopted the term "intelligence" to describe machines whose systems (e.g. deep learning) have nothing to do with intelligence. Several direct consequences: a dramatization of the effects of AI without us really understanding its potential benefits (particularly in terms of health or road safety). For Luc Julia, it is better to talk about augmented intelligence (of humans), and not artificial intelligence (of machines) — and how we will choose to use it.
