I have never understood the principle of making New Year's resolutions

Personal goals and professional plans, what will move me in 2018, what is already certain, what is still up in the air and, above all, what you can expect from me here at PR-Doktor and on other platforms.
If you want to change something in your life, you don't need an arbitrary date; it's best to do it right away. Nevertheless, for several years now I have been using the quieter time between Christmas and New Year to prepare for the coming year. Now, at the end of each year, many of our customers tell us their budgets for the whole of the coming year. Many lecture and event dates have already been set.
So at least part of my and our working time is already linkedin data tied up for the next twelve months. Of course, I also have concrete plans for my own content marketing - and like every year, I resolve that, despite the high workload, I will consistently contribute something to the greater shared increase in knowledge in the network. Sometimes, however, this is neglected in view of urgent customer needs. But for 2018, I have thought about a few things to organize what I decide to work on and publish in a more strategic and systematic way. In the extremely busy (but very happy and fulfilling!) year of 2017, this was sometimes neglected.
Above all, I am looking forward to 2018 with great joy, motivation and enthusiasm for the tasks that await my team and me!
Yes, just make a plan...
With all of this, I am of course aware that life is only partially plannable. You can't divide the year up like a timetable. I find a certain humility towards what life presents to you helpful. That's why I see the following more as a guideline than as a real commitment.
But in my opinion, good planning and flexibility are not mutually exclusive. To get somewhere, you first have to get going. If something unexpected happens, you can and must always adapt your plans.
At the beginning of this year, my (provisional) direction for 2018 looks as follows.
