Waterproofing the floor in the bathroom

The process of waterproofing in a wooden house is not particularly different from a similar procedure in brick houses.
Waterproofing is carried out using several layers of insulating film - usually no more than two, or mixtures. If required, together with waterproofing the floor, you can use a film or mixture to insulate the walls (the film is raised from the floor by 20 cm or more). Then we apply a layer of screed and complete the belgium mobile database with finishing. If desired, you can immediately install a warm floor system.
Of course, even taking into account the improved waterproofing, we should not forget about the possible deformation of the floors. The use of antiseptic preparations will help prevent water from getting into the wood fibers.
Wooden covering
In a wooden house, it is logical to assume that the floors will also be wooden. At first glance, it may seem that such a floor is impractical. Indeed, wood and water are incompatible. Increased humidity leads to the formation of fungus and rotting of the wooden covering.
Because of this, not every type of wood is suitable for a bathroom.
Excellent options for flooring include wood species such as:
larch;
teak.
These two options are excellent "friends" with water. Their difference is in price. Thus, larch can be considered an economical raw material, and teak has long been considered an elite species, its wood is used in shipbuilding.
