Cement is used as a base, as well as plasticizers, fillers and water-repellent additives. It is the latter that, as a result of chemical reactions, transforms a regular solution into a waterproof but vapor-permeable coating up to 5 mm thick. It is recommended for use on non-deformable mineral bases indoors and outdoors.
The method of application corresponds to the name. The solution is applied to the prepared, primed and moistened base in a thin layer in 2-3 layers using a brush or spatula. After 48-72 hours, you can start laying tiles.
Penetrating compounds
They are dry mixtures of cement, quartz filler benin mobile database chemically active part (CAP). The latter, although it is a technological secret of the manufacturer, has an interesting property - its components are soluble in water, but the crystal hydrates that are formed as a result of the reaction of CAP with calcium, magnesium or aluminum salts, on the contrary, are insoluble.
Formation of needle-shaped crystals during the overgrowth of pores in concrete
The dry mixture is mixed with water and applied to the concrete surface in a thin layer using a brush or sprayer. The dissolved chemical additives, under the influence of osmotic forces, penetrate deep into the concrete through capillaries and tiny cracks, react with calcium and transform into growing needle-shaped crystals. The result is predictable - the pores are overgrown, the material is compacted, the waterproofing and frost-resistant characteristics of the mineral base are increased.
6-14 days after the installation of penetrating waterproofing, it is permissible to apply or lay a decorative coating
Waterproofing additives
Rigid or semi-rigid mixtures of the coating type
