In the world of Digital Marketing there is a lot of discussion around the phrase " email marketing is dead" . All because in October 2009 the Wall Street Journal published an article in which it said so.
Time passed and if email marketing was dead, it was resurrected. And then it died again. And came back once more. And died. And came back. The discussion never ends! Do you know why?
Every time a promising new communication channel appears, companies rush there and lawyer data think that no one else will look at emails. But the truth is that every new channel requires registration, and what do you need for that? An email address.
So there's no point in trying to escape. By the way, many people out there have already noticed this. There are dozens of email marketing experts and hundreds of websites and tools for this purpose. Meanwhile, things are at a standstill here.
Many companies still believe that email marketing is synonymous with spam and want to move away from this strategy, for fear of displeasing their consumers.
