But let's finally get to the heart of this article: the examples of the big brands.

Below we will analyze which social advertising campaigns have been most successful in recent years and what their strengths are.

Cleanly: The Good and the Bad
clean example
The one proposed by the nigeria cell phone number list Cleanly laundry service is an evergreen of great success for social campaigns: the comparison.

The company, in this case, proposed two images to advertise the service it offers. The first one shows a laundry, with a rather gloomy appearance, where you can spend time waiting for your laundry to be ready. The second image, instead, shows a woman on the sofa with her PC, in a welcoming environment. Cleanly, in practice, compares the two ways of waiting, showing its service as comfortable and advantageous.

The idea to imitate: the company advertised its service by showing the advantage it offers, namely comfort. In fact, by comparing the good with the bad, the added value that the customer could gain clearly emerges.

Ikea: the suitcase
Making social communication in a simple and direct way is one of the distinctive features of Ikea's social advertising campaigns. The brand wanted to draw attention to the Russia-Ukraine conflict and the hardship experienced by refugees, deprived of everything in a few moments.

The ad, which quickly went viral on social media, showed a suitcase placed inside an empty room. The image was repeated in every Ikea store, accompanied by this description of the installation: “What remains of a refugee’s home is a suitcase.”

In addition to raising awareness about the war, the campaign also aimed to collect goods for refugees, to make them feel at home.

The inspiration to imitate : in this case, Ikea's advertising agency exploited empathy perfectly. An empty suitcase made everyone identify with the drama experienced by refugees, without resorting to repetitive images. The brand used very few words or references, but it leveraged emotion .
