What is Google Trends and how does it work?

Therefore, we can do some research on other related topics, such as “content production” and “social media” and compare the number of searches for each of them. The one with the most searches can be prioritized when creating content.

Another way to use it is to scroll down to the bottom of the page, where you will see terms related to the topic you have chosen, which are often recurring questions for many people. This way, you can create content that is more aligned with what your audience wants and needs, increasing the chances of generating traffic, engagement and conversions.

How to use Google Trends to boost your content production?

One of the simplest and most effective ways to use Google Trends is to discover the most relevant topics for your audience. To do this, you can type in a generic term or topic related to your niche market and see what the search trends are, as we did in the example above, or look at the most searched topics on the home page.

2. Find the best keywords for your content
Another way to use Google Trends to boost your content production is to find the best keywords for your content. Keywords are the terms that people use to search on Google and that must be present in your content for it to be found and ranked.

To find the best keywords, you can use the same comparison function mentioned above, which allows you to compare up to five different terms or topics and see which one has the most interest or relevance. You can also filter by country, category, time period, and search type.

To find good keywords, for example, you can compare a term with other similar ones, such as “online marketing”, “internet marketing”, “digital marketing and social media” or “digital marketing for small businesses”.
