In Southeast Asia, digital solutions will differentiate as key drivers

For employers and employees, it’s fair to say that we’re not going back to the way things were before March 2020. The physical office has gone from being a core base of gatherings to being a satellite for many employees. While it’s not entirely clear to what extent this trend will reverse, it depends on the industry and the worker. While some sectors like finance and industrial are likely to see a strong reversal, other sectors like IT may see the trend strengthen as employers become more comfortable. However, on average, we’re likely to see a compromise in the trend across all workers, which will likely leave us somewhere in the middle. Regardless of how this new hybrid remote work style pans out, one thing that’s becoming increasingly clear is that companies that adopt digital strategies around this change will be the winners of tomorrow.


For companies with operations in SEA, the digital and virtual race is on. Many employees have become accustomed to their Zoom meetings, but the trend goes far beyond that. Anything digital is at the forefront.

Companies that do this will create a culture that is able to win in today’s market.
