You don't need to have a technical background or be a rich people database in the field of data storage to understand some of the most frequently used terms. These data warehouse concepts are as follows:

Attribute - An attribute field is represented by a column within an object (entity). An object can be considered a table, view, or report.
Back - end tool : This type of tool is a software application, usually resident on both the client and the server, that assists in the production data extraction process.
Client: This is any software application that is used to extract or download applications, data or some type of service from a host system.

Data mart : A data mart is an object-oriented subset of data. Its main feature is its classic design, which makes it much easier to use.

Entity - This is one of the objects that exist in any database such as a table, view, report or screen.
