Sales are the key element of a complex process aimed at closing a deal or maximizing the impact of that deal.
Much depends on the active work of the sales department. Its tasks include search work, training in the art of sales, conversion and much more. Sales representatives. They work directly with clients. There is a division into internal and external sales representatives. The former communicate with clients remotely, and the latter directly. These workers are versatile, they can be assigned to call a telephone base or sent to a personal meeting with a partner.
Sales managers . They oversee the sales process. Their responsibilities include: providing sales representatives with the necessary resources for fruitful work; monitoring strict adherence to the planned sales strategy; setting goals and developing the sales policy; analyzing the client base, training new sales representatives.

Sales specialists. In other words, sales consultants. They are more familiar with the products or services being sold than others. That is why their responsibilities include market research. They also conduct product/service demonstrations and troubleshoot any problems that arise in this process.
Client managers. These people select commercial offers, participate in negotiations with partners, and formalize deals. All these actions should help the business reach a new level, rise to a higher level.
Account managers are multi-taskers, they can do the work of sales representatives, but this rarely happens. In some types of businesses, such as B2B, this specialist may act as a full-cycle sales representative. Their job is to manage the account from the initial interest of the prospect to the sale.
Many people mistakenly think that sales are complete when the customer pays and receives their product or service. This is not true. Sales also includes a customer success function that focuses on retention. The job of a customer success specialist is to establish positive relationships with current customers and renew future sales.
