Digital census reveals expansion of Digital Agency businesses

The Brazilian Association of Digital Agencies (ABRADi) conducted the 5th edition of the Digital Census. The study shows the growth of this sector, with a strong pace of business expansion, even with the country experiencing an economic slowdown in recent years. In 2013, the sector's revenue was R$2.7 billion, 25% more than in 2012, when it had revenue of R$2.2 billion. The survey data does not take into account investments in media, only digital services. Data collection was carried out between August 2013 and July 2014 through an online survey of more than 750 companies, whether or not affiliated with ABRADi.

The number of employees increased from 25,947 to 31,250 in the same period.
