The main challenge when working remotely is communication within the team.
Things that happen naturally in the office – you strike up a conversation with someone because you met while making coffee – in a remote-working company or in a home office, they almost require procedure.
Project communication is one thing. There is also another, equally important, if not more important aspect: the simple, human need to talk to each other . You also need to find an idea for that.
In our case, it looks like this:
First, a daily morning call . At 9 precisely, the team gathers to talk about what we saudi arabia rcs data are working on today. It is led by two fantastic Team Leaders – Agnieszka and Maja, who manage their teams of several people in the company on a daily basis.
Everyone shares priorities and most important tasks. This helps organize work, and ideas for possible further meetings of working groups are immediately created. It is also an opportunity to see each other and talk.
How long is a call like that? About half an hour if everything goes smoothly.
It is very important to have your camera on during these meetings. This way people will see your emotions. Your voice alone is not enough. You are not a radio DJ.
We work with Google tools, so for meetings of this type – both internal and with clients – we use Google Meet. I highly recommend it.
