The declaration recognizes the need to address the risks associated with cutting-edge AI models , particularly in sectors such as IT security and biotechnology, and supports greater international cooperation to ensure the safe, ethical and beneficial use of AI .

Britain's Science and Technology Secretary, Michelle Donnell, said the newly published guidelines would "place cybersecurity at the heart of the development of artificial intelligence " from inception to deployment.


The publication of the guidelines on artificial intelligence has been welcomed by experts uk rcs data and analysts on cybersecurity .

Toby Lewis, global head of threat analysis at Darktrace, calls the guidelines a “welcome project” for security systems that make artificial intelligence safe and reliable.
