Content Marketing: (Nothing) New Under the Sun?

Post by samiul12 »

Repetitions, repetitions, repetitions (not only) in content marketing: annoying or perhaps useful? – When it is worth using something tried and tested, when it is time for something new and what you should bear in mind.

The journalistic crisis of meaning
Your own focus changes
Experiences and framework conditions are changing
The target groups are changing
Not everyone sees everything immediately
Three conclusions for publishers (not only) in content marketing
I recently wrote an advice article on a topic in the area of chinese america data communication strategy that I'm currently very interested in. When I was doing a Google search for what had already been published on this topic, I came across an article in the results where the headline and the short text in the snippet seemed strangely familiar at first glance. At second glance, I saw that I had written it myself - but in 2009. Some of the text was almost identical to what I had supposedly just formulated for the new piece.

The journalistic crisis of meaning
For a short time, I was overcome by a real journalistic and professional crisis of meaning: Is it even possible to say anything new? Aren't we all ultimately repeating very similar content over and over again, only in a slightly new package? Under these circumstances, does it even make sense to write specialist books, write blog articles and give specialist lectures?
