Goals always imply specific figures that the company should reach during the planning period. Unfortunately, in practice, some companies want to implement strategic planning, but make a mistake by not specifying the goals. There are situations when managers deliberately formulate them abstractly, in order to avoid responsibility for the result.
Arguments in favor of formalized goal setting:
