If you work on images during internal website optimization, this will speed up page loading and attract additional traffic (people to the website) from image search engines.
What does image optimization involve?
Uniqueness. Search engines value original images. Naturally, they are not free, and for internal optimization of the site you can make the images unique yourself: add a background, inscription, change egypt mobile phone numbers database the size, color scheme, combine several images into one - this way you can get your own unique graphics.
Format. Upload images to the site for better internal optimization of the site in the required format *.gif, *.webp, *.webp (preferably jpg).
Size. As a rule, the image size depends on the quality of the image. This affects the speed of loading the site page and the amount of space occupied by the hosting, which is worth considering. For internal optimization of the site, use a graphic editor. In Photoshop, for example, when saving an image, click "File" → "Save for Web and devices..." → select the desired image quality for the jpg format.
Width and height. The uploaded image must be of such a size that it will be displayed on the site. When optimizing the site internally, do not adjust the size using the "height" and "weight" attributes. If the image has a high resolution, then resize it (change the size). For example, if your image is 1500x900 pixels, and you need to place a 500x300 image in the article, then you need to change the size in Photoshop.
File name. The image name should briefly (1–4 words) reflect its content. When optimizing the site internally, write it either in English or in Latin without a space, for example: “image-optimization.webp” or “optimizaciya-izobrazhenij.webp”. To fill a space, use the underscore “_” or the hyphen “-”.
Attributes. The necessary components of the HTML code of images are alt (alternative description) and title (tooltip). They are needed for internal optimization of the site to describe the image in detail (up to 100 characters). For this, use the same language as the main text of the article. Use keywords here very carefully to avoid suspicion of spam.
Watermarks. If you put your logo or website address on a picture during internal optimization of the site, it will not affect its results in the search results, but this way you will avoid unauthorized use by copy-pasters. This is especially true for pictures that you bought or created yourself.
Attention! What formats should the images be:
Gif is used for internal website optimization for images with a small number of colors (for example, for logos);
Jpg is used for images with detail, without the use of transparency (for example, photos of natural landscapes);
Png is applicable to images that need to show background transparency (for example, when overlaying images on top of each other). In addition, when optimizing a website internally, this format is used for high-quality images.
