Trademark types depend on the number of entities that can use them. They are divided into individual and collective.
The first type of trademark is registered in the name of one specific entrepreneur. We will discuss this type of marking a little further.
The collective technical specification differs in the following parameters:
The designation is registered to several persons united in the legal form of a non-profit organization.
Only entities that are part of the association and indicated in the certificate of the right to use it may own the trademark.
The goods of the mom database organizations that are part of the association must be identical in quality and characteristics of a common nature. In case of non-compliance with this rule, the collective trademark may lose its legal protection ahead of schedule.
The right to this type of TM cannot be transferred to other persons or become the subject of a license agreement.

Proper name as a trademark
Personal brand promotion is closely related to the emergence of a trademark. Your name is a great designation. No one will be able to use it for business activities.
Simply put, people with the same name will have to take a pseudonym, because they will no longer be able to provide services in your field with an identical trademark. But at the same time, no one will forbid you to work and live with it.
For example, a psychologist chooses her own name "Galina Ivanovna" as a trademark. After registration, other Galina Ivanovnas can live with their name and even get a job as a hired psychologist. But for running a blog or private practice, they will receive a fine from the copyright holder.
Proper name as a trademark
Many famous people have registered their personal data as a trademark: Oleg Miami, Philipp Kirkorov, Olga Seryabkina, Nikolay Baskov, etc. The names are also used by specialists developing their own brand. Among them are coaches, designers, and even lawyers.
Before you start using this option, review the data on existing brands. Otherwise, you risk getting a fine for using your name in business activities.
Trademark Requirements
Rospatent does not register every trademark. Before accepting your trademark, it conducts a check according to the following requirements:
Conventional designation
The TM should not be an image, term or name of a product that is widely used in society. The sign is rather a symbol of the brand on the packaging or product that replaces the name of the product or its manufacturer.
For example, the lexeme "Chips" cannot be used as a TK, but "Chipsters" can. The name "Macaroni" is not allowed, but "Makfa" is allowed.
